Stafford Wedderburne, 31 of Harrisburg, has been charged with with the following in connection with the Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022 killing of 23-year-old Jordan Allen also of Harrisburg, according to the police and court records:
Homicide Murder Of The First Degree.
Felony Kidnap To Facilitate A Felony.
Felony Robbery -Threat Immediate Serious Injury.
Felony Possession Of Firearm is Prohibited.
Felony Firearms Not To Be Carried without a License.
Allen had been found shot dead in a wooded area behind the 52nd row of the Hall Manor Housing Community around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20, as Daily Voice previously reported.
Allen had suffered a gunshot wound and had been dead for "an unknown amount of (time)," police stated in the release.
"The van belonging to Allen was later located in the area of South 15th and Catherine Streets. Video camera footage captured Allen's van being dropped off in the area, after his death, and the driver of the van entering into an awaiting sedan and leaving the area," the police said on Thursday, Dec. 8.

Wedderburne's preliminary arraignment is scheduled before Magisterial District Judge Paul T. Zozos at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, where he will be denied bail and remanded to the Dauphin County Prison per state law on homicide charges.
He has a criminal record of burglary and served several years in prison after pleading guilty. Wedderburne also has another active case in Dauphin County also regarding charges of Felony Prohibited Firearm.
A GoFundMe was launched to help memorialize Allen who is survived by a young daughter, according to his family's posts on social media.
